Frequently asked questions
Straightforward answers distilled from the clinic’s archived FAQ.
Is it detectable?+
A carefully planned SMP treatment replicates the appearance of individual follicles and is blended to the client’s existing pattern for a natural result.
How many treatments should I expect?+
Most clients can expect two to four sessions depending on the extent of hair loss or scarring. Sessions are usually spaced around seven to ten days apart.
How long do results last?+
Color strength may last for years, although gradual fading is normal and varies with immune response, lifestyle and sun exposure. A touch-up can refresh faded work.
Will the pigment change color?+
The archived clinic guidance states that purpose-selected SMP pigment is designed to lighten gradually rather than discolor.
Do I need time off work?+
The procedure is non-invasive. Temporary redness may be visible for a few days, but many clients return to normal activities quickly.
How is a hairline chosen?+
The practitioner recommends a shape that fits head structure, age and goals. It can be adjusted gradually during the treatment sessions.
Can SMP camouflage a transplant scar?+
Pigment impressions can be placed within and around a healed scar to reduce the visual contrast between the scar and surrounding hair.
